deceptively low prices because of additional fees
They have learned from the airline industry. This place has deceptively low costs due to monthly fees that you have to pay when you rent from them. You can either pay their exorbitant fees or take time from your busy and hectic day to print out your renters/homeowners insurance policy. Do not waste your time.

We believe this customer is referencing our Pay-With-Rent Storage Insurance. These are not fees, actually, but rather they are monthly insurance premiums. Having some sort of insurance for your stored contents is a material condition of our Rental Agreement (much like many apartment complexes and rental homes). Therefore, we do offer Storage Insurance that you can sign up for at the time of your lease, and the premiums are added to your monthly rent to keep things simple for you. When you move out of your unit, your policy is automatically cancelled, so you don't have to worry. Some customers choose to provide their declarations page from their own homeowners or renters policy (often after they obtain an off-premises rider or additional coverage), showing that their stored property in their leased unit at our facility is covered under their existing policy in order to not utilize the storage insurance, and that choice is up to the customer. However, it is our policy to help ensure the protection of your property while you store with us, and to make this coverage as easy as possible for our customers, so we do recommend the storage insurance to all customers.
